Originally built in 1861 as a pub for Irish dockers, the Buttery has long been regarded as one of Glasgow’s top restaurant addresses. The menu is primarily seafood based and everything is cooked so perfectly and with such simple style that it should tempt even the most determined hater of seafood, but there are always delicious meaty alternatives for those who refuse to be converted.
