Creelers

Creelers is situated in the heart of the historic centre of Edinburgh, just off the Royal Mile. The restaurant is run by former fisherman Tim James, and his restaurateur wife Fran, who also own the renowned Arran Smokehouse. Expect a stunning menu featuring fresh seafood and traditional Scottish fare. Signature dishes include the grilled queen scallops with chilli oil and crème fraiche; fillet of Loch Duart salmon with beetroot, horseradish and watercress; and the rib-eye of pure-breed Aberdeen Angus beef with lambs lettuce and herb oil. Creelers is also famous for their sensational seafood platter – a spectacular array of home-cured and smoked fish and shellfish.
