The Old Course is a classic links, with fairways that roll through the wild dunes. This is links golf at it's most traditional. It helps to have good balance, as you'll rarely find a flat lie, which adds another testing dimension to this fantastic course. The course has recently undergone a renovation by Faldo Design, making subtle changes to tee positions and the bunkers, to improve its playability and enhance the surrounding beauty. The 5th hole will live long in the memory, as the 190 yard par 3 uses an elevated green surrounded by dunes to intimidate even the lowest handicappers.
